Your Role:
EMD Electronics is seeking a Field Service Engineer for its North America Field Service and Commercial Accounts teams. The Field Service Engineer will develop a relationship with a key construction group tied to the installation and development of new equipment at a key customer in the semiconductor manufacturing environment.
The Field Service Engineer will receive direction from the North American Field Service Manager and Key Account Manager. The role will be primarily responsible for driving relationships with identified customers, maintain key account strategies and activities, support small development projects, and facilitate corrective actions such as GCS, QMAC and main carrier board actions.
In addition, the FSE will be able to provide support for other FSE projects to reduce utilization and lead times.
The Field Service Engineer will be expected to work an in-office work schedule, typically Monday through Friday 7-4 with some off hour support.

Your Role:

The Field Service Engineer will receive direction from the North American Field Service Manager and Key Account Manager. The role will be primarily responsible for driving relationships with identified customers, maintain key account strategies and activities, support small development projects, and facilitate corrective actions such as GCS, QMAC and main carrier board actions.
- Act as key customer interface to the engineering and commercial teams
- Cascades and supports goals and objectives as directed by Key Account Management
- Communicate key customer strategies back to the Key Account Manager
- Be the point person in the field for engineering designs related to key customer needs
- Facilitate closure of key customer equipment issues locally and in a timely manner
In addition, the FSE will be able to provide support for other FSE projects to reduce utilization and lead times.
The Field Service Engineer will be expected to work an in-office work schedule, typically Monday through Friday 7-4 with some off hour support.
Physical Attributes:
- Be capable of walking long distances during customer visits and facility tours (2-3 miles)

Who You Are:
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5+ years' experience installing, testing, and maintaining specialty gas and chemical distribution systems in a semiconductor manufacturing environment
- 2+ years of leadership experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline
- Proficient with MS Office Suite
- Experience with multiple customer interactions
- Experience with semiconductor startup execution
- Experience dealing directly with commercial and engineering teams
