What You'll Do:
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of business development and sales representatives to achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets.
  • Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities to enhance the skills and performance of the sales team.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and set clear, measurable goals for each team member.
  • Coordinate the development of effective sales strategies to achieve company revenue and growth objectives.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and potential threats.
  • Monitor and analyze sales metrics to ensure the team meets or exceeds sales targets.
  • Prepare and present detailed sales reports and forecasts to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with Senior Management to set annual sales targets and budgets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's market presence.
  • Resolve any escalated customer issues or concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to maximize revenue from existing accounts.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
  • Consult with HR on hiring strategies for open roles and provide recommendation for final hiring decision.
  • Foster a positive, results-oriented team culture that encourages collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Follow departmental procedures and work instructions as written.
  • Perform any other task/activity assigned by the Director of Sales within the scope of Sales operations.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per the Sealing Devices Quality System.
  • Responsible for highlighting Sealing Devices values in daily work activities.

What you will need:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of sales management experience, preferably in manufacturing industry.
  • Proven track record of leading a sales team to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to travel as needed - require ability to travel up to 50%


Salary ranges for this position are determined based upon the job location and can be adjusted based upon experience, reflecting our commitment to valuing the expertise and contributions of our individual team members. Salary range for this role is $100,000 - $120,000 on an annual basis. Base salary plus commission structure.
