We are currently looking for an ambitious SeniorClinical Engineer to join our Endovascular Robotics business withinAdvanced Therapies. We are a global technology leader in robotic-assistedvascular interventions. As a Senior Clinical Engineer you will be responsiblefor:
- Collaborating closely with thedevelopment teams to ensure successful completion of development initiativesand milestones.
- Leading definition, investigation,and testing of the robotic system, subsystems, and prototypes, includingsimulated-use testing, pre-clinical/clinical testing, design validationtesting, human factors engineering testing, and user questionnaires andsurveys.
- Generating protocols, procedures,and engineering tests/reports to support formative and summative validationtesting at pre-clinical and clinical sites.
- Analyzing clinical and technicaldata to support product and prototype development and generate related reports.
- Applying engineering andscientific principles to advance the effectiveness of clinical procedures andworkflow through use of robotics, remote treatment capabilities, and artificialintelligence.
- Providing technical and clinicalguidance to programs from concept to development to FDA submission based onclinical insights and extensive data analysis.
- Supporting device regulatorysubmission activities, through use case development/validation and benchsimulations.
- Supporting definition andvalidation of medical robotic procedures including: Instructions for Use,troubleshooting procedures, and training materials.
- Additional duties as necessary

Required skills to have for the success of this role:
- Bachelor'sdegree in mechanical, biomedical engineering, or related disciplinerequired. Master's degree preferred
- Aminimum of 5-8 years of experience in medical device development or relatedexperience required
- Astrong understanding and experience of medical device development from thedefinition stage through validation
- Experiencein generating protocols, procedures, and engineering tests/reports required
- Understandingof and experience in the clinical/pre-clinical settings preferred. Experiencewith endovascular technologies preferred
- Capableof handling multiple high-priority projects at the same time required
- Excellentcommunication skills with the ability to present clinical ideas to theengineering team and engineering principals to clinical personnel
- Strongunderstanding of statistical analysis. Experience with statistical softwaresuch as MiniTab or SAS is preferred
- Excellentinterpersonal skills; ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.Ability to plan, organize, and work independently, with minimal supervisionrequired.
