The Senior Business Development Representative (BDR) Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction and overall success of the global Business Development function and driving pipeline and revenue. This senior role requires a blend of strategic vision, leadership acumen, and operational excellence to drive high-impact results. Please note, this role is based out of our Toronto office, with the expectation of a strong in-office presence.

What You'll Do:
  • Lead our global BDR function across core markets, developing and driving strategies to hit key metrics like sales accepted leads (SALs), meetings, conversion rates, and bookings
  • Design and execute long-term strategies to align the BDR function with company goals and market trends
  • Mentor and coach a high-performing BDR team, fostering growth through professional development
  • Manage daily activities and track performance metrics, ensuring success across weekly, monthly, and annual targets
  • Strategize campaigns and spiffs to hit quarterly and annual goals
  • Continuously optimize the BDR model to maximize pipeline impact through both inbound and outbound efforts
  • Build and implement success plans for each BDR team member
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Revenue Operations for cohesive strategy execution and improvement
  • Oversee the inbound BDR function to ensure smooth and effective lead management
  • Develop strategies for hiring, training, and motivating BDRs
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Sales Leaders
  • Design and refine workflows and account assignments for efficient BDR operations

What You'll Bring:
  • 9+ years of experience managing global Business Development teams with a proven track record
  • Expertise in shaping and executing BDR strategies that drive pipeline growth and revenue
  • Strong understanding of B2B sales processes, pipeline generation, and prospecting strategies
  • Data-driven mindset, skilled in using performance metrics to improve results
  • Experience collaborating with Marketing, Sales, and Revenue Ops for aligned strategy execution
  • Operational excellence, with expertise in designing efficient workflows and success plans
  • Proven ability to mentor and inspire BDR teams to exceed targets
  • Excellent communication skills, able to influence senior leaders and build strong relationships
