An icon in the Miami Beaches, located near Sunny Isles, this beachside hotel brings a new era of luxury, with celebrated dining and a world-class spa, to its Surfside shores.About the Role:The Chief Engineer of Residences is part of the Engineering team and is responsible for managing the daily operations of the Residence building and attending to all maintenance needs and requests. This position supports the Director of Engineering in all aspects of the Residences' operations.What you will do:Responsible for all aspects of the hotel and physical building maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, steam, gas, fire and safety, HVAC refrigeration, paint and designResponsible for Life/Fire safety systems, energy/green initiative systems and management of other engineering work necessary to maintain the property in an efficient conditionRespond to all emergency conditions such as weather, fires, power failures, etc. Implement preventive maintenance schedules and deep cleaning programsResolves residents’ complaints, handling all interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible.
