Production Assembler

Clayton Services is searching for Production Assemblersto join a thriving company in the Southwest Houston area.

Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $14.00/hour plus OT

Production Assembler Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assemblers typically work in a team environment, reading instructions and assembling products or pieces of products for the valve and fitting assembly.
• This can include testing sub-assembled parts before doing the required assembly.
• After the assembly is completed, assemblers then move the piece or product to the next phase in the manufacturing process.
• Assemblers are normally required to keep their workstation neat and orderly and properly store and maintain production parts, tools, test equipment, and documentation.
• Must also perform other duties directed by the supervisor.
• Assembly of small and large fittings and valves.
• Rework grinding and coating of fittings and valves

Production Assembler Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to carry out not only simple oral and written instructions.
• Ability to use small hand tools
• Basic math skills
• Ability to communicate and work safely and efficiently with team members.
• Ability to operate hand tools including but not limited to drills; grinders; heat guns; rivet guns.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
