Our client, a Health Center providing affordable healthcare to the underserved and vulnerable in New York City, seeks a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician.

Job Responsibilities:
* Evaluate and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
* Perform initial assessment of mental health conditions e.g., depression and anxiety disorders
* Order and analyze necessary diagnostic tests using high value care principles and EBM to inform clinical decision-making
* Prescribe appropriate treatment and/or medication in an evidence-based manner and within the scope of licensure
* Advise patients on treatment recommendations, lifestyle modifications, and age-appropriate preventive screenings
* Partake in health promotion activities and recruitment efforts for the site
* Maintain accurate and detailed medical records about each patient
* Complete EMR documentation, billing, and patient-related paperwork in a timely manner
* Participate in night and weekend call shared among clinicians
* Attend and participate in clinic, provider, and all staff meetings
* Engage in center wide and clinic-specific quality improvement projects and peer review
* Assure deliverance of quality clinical care in a safe, efficient, competent, and effective manner
* Comply with all laws applicable to the practice of your specialty including HIPAA and mandated reporting
Job Requirements:
* MD/DO degree required
* Board Eligible/Board Certified
* Current and valid NYS license
* Current DEA certificate
* Updated BLS and infection control certificate
* Bilingual, either Spanish/English or Mandarin/English, is a plus
* Knowledge of HIV medical care and LGBTQI care is a plus
