Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

SPECIALTY: OBGYN LOCATION: Kearney Locums: 1099 JOB NUMBER: 47814 We are looking for an Obstetrician & Gynecologist to provide inpatient coverage for gaps we have. Providers should be comfortable with all OB/Gyn procedures. Will be responsible for daily rounding on all patients admitted to the service as well as any consult received during the assignment. Available to go at any time. DESCRIPTION: * Schedule: Wednesday November 27th - Sunday November Monday, December 23rd - Thursday December Monday December 30th - Thursday January * Setting: Acute Care inpatient/outpatient hospital. 268 bed regional referral center * Types of Cases: Obstetrics and Hospitalist * Patient volume - 1-5 per day * Duties: Be on-call to the emergency department for precipitous deliveries, both vaginal and c-section * Gynecology call to the emergency department; consultation & treatment as needed * Required Procedures: Diagnosis and management of conditions occurring during pregnancy through postpartum. Major & minor abdominal and vaginal surgical procedures upon the female pelvis and related structures * Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days REQUIRED: * BC/ OBGYN required * Must have a current NE license and DEA * Clean Malpractice Record * Covid-19 Vaccine Required * COMPENSATION: * Competitive Market Rate (rate based on availability, experience, certifications) * Malpractice insurance provided * Preferred Lodging: Candlewood Suites, Kearney, NE * Air Travel: Local, preferred but not required * Please detail any anticipated travel exceptions, for example a dietary restriction necessitating specific lodging situations.
