Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

Position Type: 1099 Locum Tenens Position: OBGYN Physician Location: PA Start Date: November 2024 Length/Need: Nov - Dec and dates of 2025 TBD Travel & Lodging will be covered or reimbursed Medical Malpractice will be covered Schedule: * Call only * 24 hr. in-house call * Practice Setting- Inpatient * 1590 deliveries per year Procedures & skills required: * Low risk pregnancy, High risk pregnancy * FHR interpretation - NST/CST/FSE * OB Ultrasounds - Performance of, interpretation * Level I/Screening (viability) * Level II/Targeted (anatomic) * Amniocentesis, Routine delivery, Vagina, Low forceps * Decision-making for c-section * Complicated delivery, C-section, Breech, Multiple births, Abruptions, VBAC's * Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations * Office/minor gynecology - IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc. * Surgical gynecology - Open * Laparoscopic diagnostic/minor only - tubal ligation, LOA's, chronal tubation * Operative/major (includes diagnostic) - ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA's * Laser certification Requirements: * Board Certified * Active PA license or IMLC * In addition to holding a current IMLC letter of qualification * Applicants will need to demonstrate that they have satisfied two Pennsylvania state requirements before obtaining a license: completing 3 hours of education in child abuse recognition and reporting, and 4 hours of education relating to pain management and opioid prescribing practices. * Clean Malpractice
