We are looking for a Business Deveopment Manager to sit on-site at our Buffalo, NY location and join our sales team. This is a strategic role that is responsible for achieving sales growth within an assigned region by executing the sales plan. This role requires initiative, someone who leads by example and represents Conax well, has tenacity and a hunter mentality and to ensure maximum sales volume, profitability, and revenue potential for existing and new products.
The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities as well as strategically grow revenue within our key accounts in an assigned territory. This includes building and maintaining relationships with key executives within the focus area assigned. You will also interface with the management team to assist in the development of budgets, sales policies, forecasts, reports, and other information as required.
This position requires a technical acumen (degree preferred but not required) and direct sales experience of highly engineered products to large end users and OEM's. This position will be on-site at our Buffalo, NY location and travel of approximately 50%. Sales experience in engineered sensors, seals, and cable harness assemblies highly desirable.
Salary ranges for this position are determined based upon the job location and can be adjusted based upon experience, reflecting our commitment to valuing the expertise and contributions of our individual teammates. Base salary range for this role is $70,000 - $98,000 annually based upon experience.
