Key Role:
Have strong technical expertise in electrical or electronics engineering to support Navy programs. Apply your engineering expertise to Naval vessels and their electrical and electronic systems vessels. Possess electrical engineering skills and can work across multiple projects simultaneously and within a multidisciplinary team of engineers and acquisition specialists. Lead technical initiatives in support of program office objectives, fostering an inclusive, collaborative culture while mentoring junior engineers to enhance their skills. Responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems for Naval vessels and defense systems. Collaborate with mechanical and structural engineers to ensure smooth system integration, conduct technical reviews, and provide guidance on best engineering practices. Develop and maintain technical documentation, such as design specifications and test plans, to support project goals. Cultivate a culture of continuous learning and improvement, ensuring effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and team members to drive project success.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. Basic Qualifications:
- 10+ years experience in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
- Experience in electrical or electronic design for military or commercial electronics systems
- Experience with application of electrical or electronics design standards and practices
- Experience with analysis of electrical or electronics designs
- Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team consisting of systems engineers, naval engineers, acquisition professionals, and logistics and sustainment professionals to achieve program outcomes
- Top Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree Electrical or Electronics Engineering
Additional Qualifications:
- 15+ years experience in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
- Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Master's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
