If so, we have an outstanding opportunity for a Controller to join the team of a Tampa Bay-based manufacturing company. The Controller will join a top performing team responsible for overseeing all corporate accounting and will supervise a small team. The ideal candidate will enjoy developing and mentoring their team and will be very strong in technology. This in-office position offers strong work-life balance, while also providing visibility to C-Suite.

- Highly competitive compensation of $160,000 - $185,000, plus bonus potential, (salary commensurate with experience)
- Oversee and manage the entire accounting function, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
- Prepare and oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US Generally Accepted Accounting Practices (GAAP), ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Develop and implement robust internal controls and accounting policies to ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory standards.
- Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process, providing strategic insights to support company growth and financial goals.
- Direct the company's financial reporting and analysis, delivering clear, actionable insights to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk, ensuring the company's financial stability and operational efficiency.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of finance professionals, providing mentorship, guidance, and career development opportunities.
- Collaborate with other departments to support cross-functional initiatives and ensure alignment with overall company objectives.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial service providers.
- Continuously evaluate and improve accounting systems, processes, and reporting tools to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.
- Special projects as needed.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required
- Minimum of 7 years of accounting experience with some experience in public accounting
- Excellent written and verbal communication, strong Excel required, Power BI a plus
- Strong planning and organization skills and understanding of the importance of deadlines
- Superb communications skills required
