Description

You will be part of a development/architecture team responsible for the creation and support of the Cognitive Computing Platform. This platform allows customers to interact with Fidelity in increasingly human ways on the channels that are important to them. As part of the team, you will be enabling customers to get the most out of what Fidelity can offer through the creation of intuitive and highly engaging experiences that enable today's digitally savvy consumer to take control of their finances and feel confident in the choices that they make.

The Expertise we're looking for

Experience with 1 or more programming languages desired

Desire/ability to learn and implement new technologies

Experience/Certification in Cloud-based (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc...) Development / Architecture is beneficial

Experience with NodeJS/Python would be beneficial

Experience with JSON document (swagger doc) would be beneficial

Experience with SOA technology is beneficial

Experience multiple enterprise technologies would be beneficial

Exposure to Agile development methodology is desired

Exposure to front-end UI technologies would be beneficial

Our target customers are being delighted by experiences from Amazon, Google, Apple, and other Digital Native companies that do a great job at personalizing experiences to the user and offering functionality where the user wants to consume it. The Cognitive Computing group is focused on enabling these experiences by implementing conversational user experiences that learn and grow with the needs of the user.

The Value you deliver

Your role will focus on developing/implementing the capabilities of the Cognitive Computing Platform in a Full Stack Developer capacity on an Agile/Scrum team

Daily activities will involve development, automated testing, meeting with technology peers (including architecture) to work through technical designs, supporting other developers on the team with their deliverables, and participating in Agile ceremonies

Your work as part of the team enables functionality developed throughout the firm reach these customer and create the high-value interactions that will keep them coming back. As part of the team you will be able to impact the speed, efficacy, and scale of the technical solutions that will serve these customers through forward looking architectural designs as well as hands-on implementation.
