RAW MATERIALS SPECIALIST
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE RAW MATERIALS SPECIALIST

RAW MATERIALS SPECIALIST
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE RAW MATERIALS SPECIALIST
- Maintain inventory accuracy and coordinate material supply
- Collaborate with the procurement department to ensure adequate supply of raw materials to meet production schedules and order requirements
- Compile and analyze reports for use in forecasting raw material requirements
- Participate in the movement of scrap and alloy materials between all Carpenter melt facilities
- Interact with raw material suppliers and processors
- Participate/support weekly, monthly and quarterly raw material audits
- Create heat mixes based on order requirements for melt shop
- Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.
- High school diploma required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 0-2 years of manufacturing support experience preferred.
- Knowledge of supply chain preferred.
