Requirements
1st shift and 2nd shift opportunities, 6am to 4:30pm or 4:00pm to 3am.
Monday - Thursday, Friday being an OT day as needed.
The Manufacturing Assembler is responsible for producing components by assembling parts and subassemblies according to specified guidelines and instructions. This role involves reading and deciphering schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions to ensure accurate assembly of components. Assemblers will use hand tools or machines to position or align components and parts, either manually or with hoists.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble parts and subassemblies for one (1) to three (3) product lines, which may include Valves, Parking Brake, Final Filters, and Shipping/Receiving.
- Follow specified work instructions, engineering parts drawings, or sales literature to ensure accurate assembly processes, including subassembly, testing, and packaging for shipment.
- Adhere to applicable ISO procedures and work instructions to maintain quality standards throughout the assembly process.
- Ensure the quality of work by maintaining accurate counts and meeting production standards.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, such as implementing new fixtures or combining operations, and communicate these suggestions to the supervisor.
- Actively work in any department for which the employee is trained, as needed, to support production requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure efficiency and safety.
- Adhere to all company safety procedures and guidelines to promote a safe working environment.
- Report equipment malfunctions and process deviations to appropriate personnel for resolution.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in manufacturing or assembly preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and machines for assembly tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in assembly processes.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and procedures.
- Commitment to following safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
