Position Overview: Under the supervision of the Production Supervisor, the Assembler is responsible for assembling a variety of fixture and cabinetry products. This is a multifaceted role.

Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
  • Follow all safety protocols and practices to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Adhere to quality policies, specifications, regulations, and instructions always.
  • Read and interpret plans, blueprints, and drawings to produce fixtures and solid surfaces within specified tolerances.
  • Gather components and assemble kits as required.
  • Use glue, clamps, dowels, screws, and other materials to construct fixtures and cabinetry.
  • Install hardware such as hinges and handles accurately.
  • Operate power and hand tools, including drills, table saws, chop saws, routers, sanding equipment, and staplers.
  • Identify, utilize, and properly handle inserts, fixtures, and tooling.
  • Package and prepare products for shipment efficiently.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
  • Ability to read and understand fixture drawings.
  • Proficiency with power and hand tools, including drills, table saws, chop saws, routers, and sanding equipment.
  • Strong measuring skills for dimensions and angles.
  • Ability to follow written, oral, or diagrammatic instructions with common sense.
  • Good arithmetic skills for precise measurements and calculations.
  • Attention to detail and  commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Capacity to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high standards.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members.

Education and/or Experience:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • One year of cabinet building experience (preferred).
