As the CMM Programmer/Inspector you will be programming and operating a Zeiss CMM using Calypso software to inspect and ensure parts meet customer specifications, including interpreting ballooned drawings with GD&T requirements. The position requires collaboration with production teams and adherence to AS9100/ISO9001 standards for documentation and quality control. You will be working on Precision Components.

Description

AS the CMM Programmer/ Inspector you will:

  • Analyze ballooned customer drawings, including GD&T and purchase order specifications.
  • Utilize Zeiss Calypso software to develop CMM programs with setup instructions for First Piece, In-Process, and Final Inspections.
  • Operate the Zeiss CMM to execute established programs for multiple inspection stages.
  • Coordinate with Machine Operators, Programmers, and Management to verify product quality.
  • Compare CMM inspection results with manual measurement tools like micrometers and height gauges.
  • Follow AS9100/ISO9001 standards, ensuring proper documentation, revision tracking, traceability, and lot control.

  • Capable of following instructions accurately.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CMM Programmer/Operator.
