Program Manager
Advanced Chemical Transport, San Jose, CA
The Program Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating efforts between projects and leading the overall program with strong attention to strategy, implementation, and delegation. The Program Manager serves as the main contact and primary interface between the client and ACTenviro. The Program Manager is responsible for and manages all aspects of the program and ensures that ACTenviro meets all contractual obligations connected with the program.

Accountabilities
- Supervise, manage and is responsible for setting up onsite client service centers.
- Prioritize what is needed for the program and allocate the resources to meet those goals.
- Provide customer technical support and consultant services to increase our overall value to the client (Focus on customer retention and improving overall customer satisfaction)
- Support the planning of the overall program implementation and manage/monitor the progress
- Develop and manage budget and be accountable for delivering against established business goals/objectives
- Ensure goals are met in areas including customer satisfaction, safety, quality and team member performance
- Produce accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle
- Manage risks and issues and work with ACT groups to take corrective measures.
- Manage and track facility-wide "cradle to grave" waste generation, storage and disposal requirements.
- Attend scheduled meetings with client and employees.
- Attend department meeting and submit reports when required.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with vendors.
- Develop written Standard Operational Procedures as needed for successful implementation
- Perform other assignments as given by management
- Availability to work weekends and extended hours as needed.
- Available to travel when supporting remote locations.
Skills and Experience
- Must have working knowledge of hazardous material handling requirements and methods.
- Must have a working knowledge of hazardous waste disposal and treatment methods.
- Project Management experience (preferred)
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- Health and Safety conscious
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, CRM platforms, etc.
- A strong work ethic, a self-starter, manage multiple priorities and manage details.
- Ability to lift 40 pounds.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background screen, physical and drug screen.
Education and Training
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Proven experience in program management
- Proven stakeholder management skills
- Valid driver's license
