Tax Senior Manager - SC&H Wealth Management

SC&H's Wealth Management Practice is an SEC-registered investment advisory firm with the objective of delivering independent tax, financial planning, and investment advice to high net worth individuals and families. To meet these objectives, we have assembled a team of CPA's, CFP's and other financial specialists in the areas of income and estate tax planning and compliance, estate and trust administration, investment management, and holistic financial planning. Today, SC&H Wealth Management works to meet the financial needs of SC&H Group's most sophisticated individual and family clients.
As we continue to grow, we are looking to add a talented Tax Senior Manager to our expanding team. We seek individuals with significant exposure to the tax compliance process, the ability to understand a broad range of general tax issues, preparation of tax returns, and the professionalism necessary to effective communicate with clients, peers and SC&H professionals at all levels.

Qualified Candidates will have the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or other business related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of public accounting experience in the Tax practice (Big 4, national or large regional firm experience preferred).
- Experience preparing and reviewing Individual (1040's) tax returns. Experience with foreign tax accounts is a plus but not required.
- Excellent Research, Writing and Interpersonal skills.
- CPA or EA is required
- Ability to be on site at our Sparks, MD Headquarters at least 3 days a week.

- Ability to self-check work for accuracy
- The ability to recognize and actively seek on-the-job learning to understand role and responsibilities
- The ability to think independently.
