This role is a central point of contact for program updates, status reporting, and schedule management. The ideal candidate will excel in project scheduling, correspondence tracking, and providing clear, concise reports to ensure programs run smoothly and effectively.

Job Description:
The DoD seeks a highly organized and detail-oriented Program Management Support Specialist to oversee and coordinate multiple programs within the organization. This role is a central point of contact for program updates, status reporting, and schedule management. The ideal candidate will excel in project scheduling, correspondence tracking, and providing clear, concise reports to ensure programs run smoothly and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a single point of contact to meet bi-weekly with DoD Travel leadership to provide updates on program status and schedules and address any known or anticipated issues.
- Maintain up-to-date project schedules and correspondence task lists to track progress and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Prepare and submit detailed Monthly Status Reports, including:
- Reporting period.
- Summary of work completed during the period.
- Progress on ongoing efforts.
- Planned actions for upcoming initiatives.
- List of deliverables submitted.
- Updated project schedules.
- Status and priority of documents being updated.
- Identification of any known or anticipated issues, along with a recommended plan of action.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in maintaining project schedules and tracking correspondence tasks.
- Ability to prepare comprehensive status reports and communicate progress effectively.
- Problem-solving skills to identify and address potential issues proactively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to serve as a central POC for DoD Travel leadership.
