Job Title: Regional Sales Manager Division: Blackstone-NEY Ultrasonics Department: Sales Reports To: Director of Sales Exemption Classification: Ex empt Pay: $90k-$95k/year Location: Cincinnati, OH Summary: Responsible for sales execution, growth, and market expansion in key industrial segments for ultrasonic cleaning and surface treatment applications. North American market focus only. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS to PERFORM DUTIES Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Promote and successfully execute sales of Blackstone-NEY equipment solutions in market segments as directed by sales leadership • Influence customer decision making and internal project management processes • Cultivate relationships and grow Blackstone-NEY presence through key account management, especially with multi-site customers • Develop name recognition for Blackstone-NEY through industry events, exhibitions, and coordination with corporate marketing resources • Actively conduct competitive analysis and identify opportunities or gaps in product portfolio or capabilities through industry research and discussion with customers • Achieve minimum order entry targets as defined by Sales Director and the executive team • Visit customer facilities and host/coordinate customer visits to Blackstone-NEY • Coordinate in-house laboratory trials of cleanliness testing for customer parts and components • Prepare detailed and accurate opportunity reports for customer projects and work closely with Applications Engineering to prepare equipment specifications and proposals • Negotiate pricing, delivery and payment terms consistent with internal guidance from the President and Director of Sales • Maintain visibility on progress of awarded projects internally and highlight changes or non-compliance with customer expectations • Coordinate and support project milestone reviews • Act as customer advocate throughout the sales, delivery and installation processes • Maintain all correspondence and project records in a manner consistent with internal project management protocols (Salesforce or other CRM Systems) • Support Finance in payment collection efforts when necessary • Generate an Annual Sales Plan (Target Market Specific) • Provide competitor and market intelligence to management as requested • Generate an annual plan for the defined territory • Other functions as required Supervisory Responsibilities: General. No direct reports internally. Supervises independent commissioned representatives. Qualifications/Skills: Working knowledge of ultrasonic cleaning equipment, cleaning processes, cleaning chemistries, and applications experience with surface treatment processes such as plating and passivation. Familiarity with any industry specific standards relating to product cleanliness controls is a plus. Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree. Minimum of 5 years technical sales experience. Language Skills: Communicate verbally and in writing with other employees, other departments and supervisors as to work in progress, problems and job completion. Must be able to confidently communicate technical and commercial details to customers and internal counterparts. Mathematical Skills: Be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide basic numbers. Calculate percentages and perform advanced mathematical procedures. Reasoning Ability: Must be able to identify work process problems and possible solutions. Certificates/Licenses/Registrations: Maintain local, regional and/or national memberships in appropriate profession Physical Demands: Sit at workstation for prolonged periods of time. Must be able to adjust visual focus. May be required to reach, stoop and/or bend on an as needed basis. Must be able to climb stairs as necessary. Some light lifting may be required. Domestic and International travel is required. Work Environment: Traditional office and manufacturing facility atmosphere. Considerable amount of traveling by airplane and/or ground transportation. Frequent use of hotels for overnight stays when out of town.
