Oliver Hospitality Management Company is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Corporate Controller to join our finance team. With a growing portfolio currently consisting of 7 hotels and 10 food & beverage outlets, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences while maintaining strong financial performance. The Assistant Controller will play a key role in supporting the corporate team in managing the company’s financial operations, including overseeing accounting functions, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and assisting with financial reporting. This position is ideal for a seasoned finance professional with a strong background in hospitality management who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP. • Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities. • Support the Corporate Controller in managing the company’s financial reporting and budgeting processes. • Conduct variance analysis and prepare detailed reports on financial performance. • Assist in cash management activities, including forecasting and monitoring cash flow. • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations, including tax filings. • Collaborate with property managers and department heads to provide financial insights and support decision-making. • Assist in the development and implementation of internal controls and accounting policies to safeguard company assets. • Participate in audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings. • Support the Corporate Controller in managing and developing the accounting team. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred. • 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in the hospitality industry. • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting. • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills. • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Experience with intercompany accounting, cash management, and tax compliance is a plus. • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Compensation: $95,000 annually
