Mission

Serve as a strategic business partner to the General Manager and the Management team by providing leadership in the design and execution of HR processes, programs and tools that drive business results and create a strong employee value proposition.

Reinforce company culture by maintaining 'The Way We Do Things' specific to People Management.

Roles and Responsibilities

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective HR initiatives in support of strategic business objectives and
the company's growth. Implement HR Policies and people management processes according to "The Way We Do Things" and ensure compliance with all applicable federal and local employment laws.
  • Provide strategic direction and guidance to managers in the areas of talent management including but not limited to workforce planning, compensation, recruitment, retention, employee engagement, competence and development, employee relations and performance management, etc.
  • Establish and maintain a salary structure for the Company that supports the effective recruitment and retention of top talent.
  • Maintain HRMS for administration of People Management processes.
  • Develop and maintain monthly and quarterly HR reports including but not limited to Headcount Evolution, Key Performance Indicators, People Management, Productivity and others as assigned or as relevant to the organization.
  • Participate in management, company and HR meetings relevant to People Management matters.
  • Liaise with accounting and finance on HR related matters. With other HR staff, develop and revise harmonized policies and procedures compliant with local, state, and federal regulations and also in keeping with Atlas Copco requirements.
  • Work continuously to enhance and improve HR systems, processes, and reporting for key stakeholders.
  • Develop, maintain and update competence development programs based on competence gap analysis ensuring that training and development activities are aligned to business goals.
  • Develop and implement effective talent acquisition strategies (including D&I goals) to improve cost efficiency and ensure timely recruitment of quality resources.
  • Support managers in hiring the right talent and provide new employees an effective induction program.
  • Serve as subject matter expert and advisor for all human resource matters of a legal nature.
  • Contribute to positive Company branding by projecting a knowledgeable, professional, and customer-oriented image to internal and external customers.
  • Perform all duties in accordance with Atlas Copco standards, while always striving to understand the needs and expectations of the customer.
  • Take whatever action is appropriate and required to get the job done and to establish and maintain communications with all people/employees considered necessary to get the job done.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What we expect of you?

Qualifications

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Must be very detail orientated.
  • Must be a self-starter with excellent organizational, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be an efficient, proven multitasker who has a high level of energy and remains composed when stressed. Must be a team player.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Solid knowledge and experience in all HR functions and employment law.
  • Working knowledge of enterprise HRIS systems and strong proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Fluency in English required.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required. (Master's degree preferred)
  • At least five years of experience in related areas such as job classification and compensation, recruitment, selection, training, employee benefits, and/or equal opportunity compliance preferred.
  • Professional in Human Resource (PHR), Senior Professional in Human Resource(SPHR) or Global Professional in Human Resource(GPHR) is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times (occasionally).
