Responsibilities
- Client Engagement: Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships through effective financial management and unwavering responsiveness.
- Proposal Development: Craft comprehensive proposals, define scopes, establish fees, and meticulously monitor performance.
- Municipal Relations: Foster lasting connections with City departments, promoting productive collaboration.
- Dynamic Presentations: Deliver compelling presentations at hearings, Commissions, and Council meetings.
- Team Leadership: Provide visionary leadership, effectively managing engineers and technicians.
- Technical Expertise: Offer technical oversight and design proficiency encompassing pavements, utilities, grading, site elements, and drainage.
- Regulatory Acumen: Demonstrate adeptness with local zoning ordinances, subdivision regulations, and other critical design criteria.
- Survey Management: Efficiently oversee the requirements of in-house and external surveying support.
- Community Engagement: Actively engage with and assume leadership roles in civic, technical, and professional organizations, championing community involvement.
- Project Portfolio:
- Site Design: Contribute to site design projects for diverse sectors, including office, retail, industrial, and institutional buildings.
- Residential Development: Manage the full spectrum of residential subdivision projects, from land acquisition to finished lots.
- Municipal Initiatives: Lead projects encompassing municipal roadway, drainage, and planning, leaving a significant impact on the communities we serve.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
- Professional engineer registration in Texas.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the types of responsibilities listed above.
- Additional desirable experience would include:
- Project management experience including plans production and management of the following tasks:
- Experience with entitlements such as Platting, Zoning, and Municipal Permitting
- Experience with Site Planning and Development Master Planning
- Software including AutoCAD Civil 3D and ArcGIS.
- Grading and Drainage Design
- Street and Alley Design
- Site Design
- Water and Wastewater Design
- Hydrology and Hydraulics Analysis and Design
- SWP3s
- General Civil Design
- Construction Management
- Excellent written and oral communication skills to interact effectively with clients, staff, municipal authorities, vendors, and contractors.
