Summary
The Commercial Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all commercial copy airing on NFL Network. This includes National, Direct Response and Local Advertisers. Moreover, they are solely responsible for ensuring the accuracy of Commercials airing in NFL Key Events such as all NFL LIVE & International Games (including Double Boxes, L-Wraps, OT/Extra Breaks), NFL Combine, NFL Draft, NFL Honors/Red Carpet, and Bowl Games. The Commercial Operations Manager must develop and maintain strong relationships with Clients, while collaborating with Sales and Sponsorship to optimize Commercial inventory and maximize revenue. Furthermore, the Commercial Operations Manager is accountable for training and supervising the Department's part-time and full-time Coordinators. Finally, the Commercial Operations Manager should have a vast range of experience in order to assist and cover within the Department.

$80,000-$95,000 USD

Responsibilities
- Organize, prioritize and input all incoming Traffic Instructions for NFL Network.
- Manage the reception of incoming spots via the various electronic spot delivery systems.
- Coordinate with Ad Sales assistants and agencies to ensure commercial instructions, media and other needed information is delivered at the proper time and in the correct format.
- Input and generate Commercial Arrival reports.
- Crosscheck commercial instructions with Sales orders to ensure accuracy and identify potential discrepancies.
- Implement copy changes for late Sales orders or late changes from Advertising Agencies and notify appropriate departments to ensure changes are made accurately and in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain relationships with advertising agencies and Master Control.
- Assist Senior Manager with reconciliation of Ancillary Networks (ESPN and Sunday Ticket ).
- Assist in analyzing inventory capacity to ensure maximum advertising revenue.
- Create and maintain the Filler list for daily log production.
- Work with the Marketing Department to ensure clearance of NFL Institutional commercials.
- Provide guidance to Traffic Team members for copy and commercial instructions.
- Supervisor responsible for the daily operations of a team of employees.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA degree required.
- 5+ years media experience
- Proficient in Wide Orbit Network, Wide Orbit Program and PC computer applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong knowledge of Sales, Commercial Traffic, Programming and in the television/cable industry.
- Ability to analyze data and identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions.
- Effectively manage issues and relationships and provide calm, clear direction under stressful situations.
- Excellent communication skills.
