Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Key financial partner between Technical Services (which includes: Fleet Management, Supply Chain, Engineering and Project Management Office) and Finance on operational costs and capital expenditures.
- Actively participates in establishing BU budget and quarterly forecast (opex, working capital and capex) along with the FP&A team.
- Responsible for reviewing monthly/quarterly/annual financial results of the BU with key stakeholders and provide valid insights into all material variances.
- Assists the BU in ensuring alignment and attainment of their financial targets and objectives.
- Establishes and monitors monthly Financial KPI's related to the BU driving business strategic discussions.
- Actively involved with month end close as it pertains to the BU.
- Prepares all financial BU presentations to be reviewed with the BU.
- Represents the VP/CFO in his/her normal course of business to ensure proper Governance and ensuring Company Policies and Procedures are followed and adhered to.
- Works towards continuous work stream improvements, precision, and alignment to CFO goals & objectives.
- Ensures link/continuity between BU budget, actual costs and estimates to be used in business development activities such as: ROM/Quotes, RFP responses.
- Assists in reviewing financial info for business cases and multi-year capital projects.
- Assists in year-end audits by providing accounting team with any BU deliverables or financial insights into the results.
- Supports operational teams to ensure more informed business decisions to accelerate Top Aces' profitability
- Provides financial guidance to the BU in analysis business trends and opportunities.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Post graduate education in accounting, CPA, CMA and with cost accounting background.
- Has 7 years relevant work experience in a similar type role, senior financial analyst/manager.
- Experience in overseeing preparation and ownership of budgets and forecasts.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Detailed oriented with a high degree of professionalism and strong business acumen.
- Ability to work independently, problem solve and provide recommendations based on financial analysis.
- Sold work ethic, results oriented with the ability to prioritize multiple assignments and consistently deliver on time with a high degree of accuracy.
- Proven ability to work cooperatively within a team environment to achieve shared goals.
- Sound judgment and high standard of ethics required.
- Highly proficient in MS Excel.
- Experience with aviation ERP and Oracle EPM an asset.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
- Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office - Word and Outlook)

Occupational Health and Safety Responsibilities:

- Providing a safe and healthy workplace including the necessary equipment, systems, and tools which are properly maintained
- Providing information, training, instruction and supervision to protect the Occupational Health and Safety of Employees
- Ensuring Employees under their direction know and comply with Occupational Health and Safety requirements
- Ensuring Employees under their direction receive adequate supervision.
- Establishing, supporting, and consulting with Occupational Health and Safety committees and Workplace Occupational Health and Safety representatives on all matters to improve workplace Occupational Health and Safety including regular safety inspections of the workplace.
