Position Overview: As an Analog IC Design Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of developing high-performance analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits. Leveraging your expertise in analog design techniques and semiconductor technologies, you'll design, simulate, and verify complex analog circuits to meet stringent performance, power, and reliability requirements. Requirements

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Circuit Design: Design and implement analog and mixed-signal circuits, including amplifiers, filters, voltage regulators, data converters, and oscillators, using state-of-the-art design methodologies and tools.
  2. Schematic Capture: Create detailed circuit schematics using industry-standard design tools such as Cadence Virtuoso, ensuring compliance with design specifications and layout constraints.
  3. Simulation and Verification: Perform circuit simulations, including DC, AC, transient, and Monte Carlo analyses, to verify circuit performance, stability, and robustness across process variations and operating conditions.
  4. Layout Support: Work closely with layout engineers to guide the physical layout of analog circuits, providing design constraints, floor planning, and layout reviews to ensure layout compliance with design intent.
  5. Characterization and Testing: Define test plans and perform characterization and testing of analog circuits using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and function generators, analyzing and interpreting test results to validate design performance.
  6. Noise and Power Analysis: Analyze and optimize circuit performance for noise, power consumption, and linearity, employing advanced techniques such as noise analysis, power integrity analysis, and optimization of feedback loops.
  7. Design Optimization: Iterate on circuit designs to optimize performance metrics such as gain, bandwidth, phase margin, and power efficiency, leveraging design automation tools and techniques for design exploration and optimization.
  8. Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed design documentation, including design specifications, design reviews, and design verification reports, ensuring clarity and completeness of design information.
  9. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including digital design, layout, verification, and packaging teams, to integrate analog circuits into complex system-on-chip (SoC) designs and ensure successful tapeout and production.
  10. Continuous Learning: Stay updated on emerging technologies, design methodologies, and industry trends in analog IC design, and continuously enhance skills and knowledge through self-study and professional development opportunities.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in analog IC design, preferably in a semiconductor or integrated circuit design company.
  • Proficiency in analog circuit design principles, including transistor-level design, amplifier design, feedback control, and noise analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with analog IC design tools such as Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, HSPICE, or similar tools.
  • Solid understanding of semiconductor device physics, CMOS and Bipolar transistor operation, and IC fabrication processes.
  • Experience with mixed-signal simulation and verification tools, such as Verilog-A, Verilog-AMS, or SystemVerilog for AMS.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex circuit behavior and troubleshoot design issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and present technical concepts to diverse audiences.
