This is position can be based in Issaquah, WA or Palo Alto, CA office.

Your Role:
  • Analyze data from various sources (market research, financial reports, customer feedback) to identify and predict trends in the global medical device market.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and presentations for senior management, using tools like Power BI and Excel, to communicate insights clearly.
  • Track key product metrics, monitor product performance, and provide actionable insights to support product development, sales, and marketing teams.
  • Conduct financial analysis, including ROI and cost-benefit analysis, to support business case development for new products and strategic opportunities.
  • Design, implement, and analyze customer surveys to gather market intelligence and uncover unmet customer needs.
  • Perform in-depth competitor analysis, including market share, SWOT, product portfolios, and strategic positioning.
  • Collaborate closely with the product management and marketing teams to translate customer and market insights into product strategies and roadmap development.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, emerging technologies, regulatory changes, and competitive developments in the Interventional Ultrasound and broader medical device markets.
  • Conduct quarterly market reviews and competitive benchmarking to assess industry direction and make recommendations for business strategy.
  • Lead primary and secondary research initiatives to gather market intelligence on emerging technologies and key industry disruptors.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess pricing strategies, reimbursement landscape, and market access trends.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and global stakeholders to influence product positioning and go-to-market strategies.
  • Partner with external vendors, consultants, and market research firms to enrich market understanding and competitive insights.
  • Support the development of long-term market forecasts and scenario planning.

Your Expertise:
  • Leadership/Collaboration Skills: Highlight the importance of working cross-functionally, especially since this role impacts product, marketing, and leadership teams.
  • Regulatory and Industry Knowledge: Include any need for understanding medical device regulations, since these are essential in the healthcare sector.
  • Experience in Healthcare/Medical Devices: Since this role is specific to interventional ultrasound and the medical device industry, a preference for experience in this area would ensure that candidates have the required industry knowledge.

Required Skills, Education and Experience for this position:
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with a passion for dissecting market dynamics and customer behaviors.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex data into simple, impactful insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Economics, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field. A combination of relevant education and experience will also be considered.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in market analysis, competitive intelligence, or product strategy, preferably within the medical device or healthcare industry.
  • Expertise in data analysis tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, and advanced Excel.
  • Experience with quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, including survey design, data mining, and statistical analysis.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with financial modeling, cost-benefit analysis, and ROI calculations.
  • Strong understanding of global medical device regulations, market access, and reimbursement trends is a plus.
  • Familiarity with CRM and ERP systems to pull data and trends from sales and financial systems.
  • Willing to travel.

The pay range for this position is $110,000 - $130,000 U.S. dollars annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, as well as where the work will be performed.
