The HR Business Partner plays a vital role at Inter Miami CF (IMCF) and will primarily support Sporting Operations at the Club. You will work closely with the Director of HR and Leadership teams on engagement, talent development, employee recognition, diversity, policy and performance management initiatives, among others. You'll provide proactive guidance and counsel and will have the opportunity to improve and impact every employee's experience at IMCF. Using data and feedback, combined with sound judgment and creativity, you'll directly influence the growth and development of our people.

- Work with relevant stakeholders to help spearhead people programs and strategies that enhance our culture, including but not limited to: performance management, talent development, employee engagement, retention, and internal communications.
- Identify and advise leadership on the development needs of their teams and functions.
- Approach people matters with an eye toward compliance and reducing risks; help build and apply HR policies and manage employee relations issues.
- Serve as an internal consultant to managers and employees on personnel issues that affect performance and relationships.
- Prepare, update, and recommend HR policies and procedures.
- Assist HR and Legal team in maintaining compliance with federal and state employment/labor laws across the organization.
- Develop and execute a highly effective onboarding program that emphasizes the critical importance and value of welcoming and integrating new employees into our culture (with emphasis on vision and core values).
- Establish a first-class "hiring brand" that attracts the best talent to the organization.
- Help identify training and development opportunities (management, anti-harassment, discrimination, etc.) for staff and assist with the implementation of appropriate training opportunities.
- Provide support with open enrollment, benefits management, compensation, payroll, etc. as required.
- Assist in the development of a total rewards program, including tickets, partner discounts and other perks.
- Plan and execute employee engagement activities and establish a formal recognition program.
- Record, compile, and analyze data to develop people programs and influence change.
- Complete special projects as required.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in human resources, organizational or related field preferred.
- PHR or SPHR Certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant human resources generalist/HRBP experience required.
- Fluent Spanish speaking skills
- Very strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, dependable, and professional.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departmental functions and build excellent working relationships.
- Ability to coordinate changing priorities in a dynamic, high pressure, fast paced environment.
- Reputation for integrity, dedicated work ethic, confidentiality and desire for ownership and accountability.
- Deep understanding of relevant employment laws.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and solve daily challenges.
- Strong work ethic: team player with a positive "get the job done" attitude.
- Proficiency with Paylocity; Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Strong passion and understanding of fútbol and fútbol culture.
- This position functions primarily at the Fort Lauderdale location but will also require work in Coral Gables. Must have reliable means of transportation.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including but not limited to evenings, weekends and holidays.
