What we're looking for
We are hiring a Corporate Paralegal to support general corporate and compliance matters.
The Corporate Paralegal will assist with various corporate legal matters, including but not limited to, corporate governance, compliance, contract management, and litigation. The successful candidate will work closely with attorneys and cross-functional teams to ensure legal processes and documentation are accurate and compliant with applicable laws and regulations.

This opportunity is hybrid and requires you to work from a SurveyMonkey office 1 day per week.
The base pay provided for this position ranges from $86,700 / year - $102,000 / year depending on the geographic market and assuming a full-time schedule. Actual base pay is based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, education or training, skills, and experience.
Bonuses and commissions may also be offered as part of the total compensation package, in addition to a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending & health savings account; paid holidays; paid time off; employee assistance program; and other company benefits.

What you'll be working on
- Assist maintaining and managing domestic and international corporate subsidiaries, which includes working with our filing agent on state filings and annual reports;
- Assist maintaining director and officer information, minute books, and other corporate records, governance policies, and compliance processes
- Manage corporate knowledge and records, coordinating with finance and tax teams on various requests related to statutory audit filings and examinations, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Organize board meetings, draft pre-read materials, and ensure timely document preparation and distribution
- Coordinate with equity administration team to ensure proper management of equity plans
- Partner with treasury, tax, accounting, stock and other legal teams to support a broad range of matters, including those related to entity management
- Lead effective day-to-day operations and workflows related to general corporate governance
- Work collaboratively and responsively with a broad range of colleagues and stakeholders, and develop trusted relationships to facilitate a coordinated team approach
- Pitch in across the legal team on projects and transactions, such as contract management and litigation, when time permits
We'd love to hear from people with
- BA/BS Degree or paralegal certificate or equivalent practical experience
- 4+ years of experience as a corporate paralegal in a law firm or corporate legal department
- Strong knowledge of corporate governance and compliance principles
- A track record of taking initiative and being resourceful to accomplish ambitious goals
- Effective organizational skills and and ability to juggle many competing priorities
- A collaborative approach and a roll-up your sleeves attitude to tackle projects large and small
- Strong judgment and high levels of professionalism, discretion, and integrity in all interactions
- Collaborative, with ability to cultivate cross-functional relationships
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech environment
- Proficiency with Google docs, Google sheets, Adobe, e-signing tools such as DocuSign, and entity management platforms
- Paralegal skills beyond corporate work, namely employment and litigation
