Job Summary: The Manager of Channel Programs (Apprentice Training) is responsible for leading the development and optimization of the national and regional partnerships between the IEC (Independent Electrical Contractors) and Consumer Power. Key accountabilities include overall program effectiveness and IEC chapter growth.
This position will be expected to collaborate closely with Consumer Power sales leadership, technical training, and channel management teams in support of shared program goals. This position operates with a significant level of independence and decision-making rights to ensure program partner adoption goals are achieved.

Job Summary: The Manager of Channel Programs (Apprentice Training) is responsible for leading the development and optimization of the national and regional partnerships between the IEC (Independent Electrical Contractors) and Consumer Power. This position will be expected to collaborate closely with Consumer Power sales leadership, technical training, and channel management teams in support of shared program goals. This position operates with a significant level of independence and decision-making rights to ensure program partner adoption goals are achieved.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Owns the program expansion of product awareness of the electrical apprentice & membership community while integrating technical product training of Generac products into the IEC national and regional offices.
- Coordinates Generac marketing engagement at IEC National engagement activities: Business Conference & SPARK Conference, IEC marketing campaigns and surveys
- Own content creation and delivery national/local marketing opportunities
- Lead to chapters - participate as needed in local chapter events
- Identify partnership opportunities that drive growth of installation base
- Optimize marketing and chapter engagement opportunities (paid and earned)
- Coordinate with sales teams and SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) to deliver thought leadership to chapters
- Partner with chapter leadership to drive state-level CEU accreditation
- Drives integration of technical training into regional IEC locations by partnering with Generac subject matter experts to ensure training content is up to date with code/Generac standards and coordinates delivery and installation of Generac equipment for training facilities
- Drives results by developing strategies, playbooks and training to support program growth and adoption.
- Ensures integration of strategic priorities, new products, and marketing strategies into program offerings.
- Develops program objectives, KPIs, and reporting; makes program recommendations to sales and channel leadership.
- Manages all customer communications to support and grow programs; develops value proposition and annual marketing plans.
- Gathers and maintains market intelligence and ensures adoption of industry leading practices into program offerings.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent knowledge and experience
- 3 years of direct experience in managing programs in B2B environment
- Prior experience implementing, reporting, or meeting/exceeding Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
