Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

Position Type: 1099 Locum Tenens Position: OBGYN Physician Location: NC Start Date: Ongoing Length/Need: 1 physician needed, until December or more Travel & Lodging will be covered or reimbursed Medical Malpractice will be covered Schedule: * Calls only * Call type is Beeper * Avg call 24 hr. Details: * Practice Setting- Inpatient * Patients per shift: varies * EMR is MediTech 6.1 Procedures & skills required: * Low risk pregnancy * FHR interpretation - NST/CST/FSE * OB Ultrasounds - Performance of, interpretation * Routine delivery, Vagina, Low forceps * Decision-making for c-section * Complicated delivery, C-section, Breech, Multiple births, Abruptions * Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations * Office/minor gynecology - IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc. * Surgical gynecology - Open * Laparoscopic diagnostic/minor only - tubal ligation, LOA's, chronal tubation * Operative/major (includes diagnostic) - ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA's Requirements: * Board Eligible or Certified * Active NC license and NC DEA (NC address). * ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, BLS * NC Medicaid, NC Medicare/PECOS enrolled * Case logs from the last 2 years (must be from a hospital) * Clean Malpractice * Fully Vaccinated
