A health system is seeking a Pediatric Radiologist for locum tenens coverage. While in southern Alabama, visit the Uninhabited Island Kayaking Adventure, tour the USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park, or explore Gulf Coast Dolphin Cruise. The position involves pediatric imaging and neuroradiology with a work schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The role requires being onsite one to two weeks per month with no on-call duties. Responsibilities include a variety of imaging types such as abdominal, cardiothoracic, neuroradiology, emergency radiology, and ultrasound, with an estimated caseload of 130-150 cases per day, split with a second pediatric reader. Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible.
