Job Title: Production Planner Job Description As a Production Planner, you will manage the scheduling of production, the schedule of product deliveries, and the transportation of raw materials and components to appropriate manufacturers of finished goods. You will lead the development of the weekly Production & Shipping Schedule, chair and present this plan at meetings, and ensure all actions are followed through to adhere to the Production & Shipping Plan. You will also manage the information, documentation, and material flow to support in-line active production and testing, tracking the status of all levels of production from raw materials through component deliveries. Additionally, you will communicate with various departments to ensure information is shared that could impact the schedule, and build excellent collaborative relationships with plant personnel, global planning, and distribution to support production requirements. Responsibilities Manage the scheduling of production, product deliveries, and transportation of raw materials and components. Lead the development of the weekly Production & Shipping Schedule, chair and present this plan at meetings. Ensure all actions are followed through to adhere to the Production & Shipping Plan. Manage the information, documentation, and material flow to support in-line active production and testing. Track the status of all levels of production from raw materials through component deliveries. Act to ensure the smooth flow and shipment of goods and inventories to support marketing and sales. Communicate with Managers of Manufacturing, Regulatory, Quality, MSST, and Finance to share information that could impact the schedule. Maintain Oracle Planning SOPs for creation of batches, assignment of lot numbers, consumption of material, and shipment of Finished Product. Maintain Third Party packaging planning along with all systems transactions needed (consumption of goods, batch creating, shipment). Essential Skills 5+ years of production planning experience. Experience in a regulated environment, preferably pharmaceutical, food, cosmetics, or fragrance. Experience with SAP or Oracle. Advanced Excel skills. College degree required. APIC Certification is desirable. 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or Materials Management. Experience in ERP (Oracle or SAP). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel). Superior communication and organization skills. Strong presentation skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in Pharmaceutical manufacturing is a plus. Warehousing/Pick/pack experience. Materials Management & Master Data experience is a plus. Work Environment You will work onsite Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm as part of the supply chain team, interacting with the production team, manufacturing, QA, and other departments.
