As a Neonatology Physician at Trinity Health, you will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, and management of critically ill and premature infants in our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide family-centered care and ensure optimal outcomes for our smallest patients.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments and diagnostic evaluations of newborns, including those with complex medical conditions.  
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, utilizing evidence-based practices and family participation.  
  • Provide continuous monitoring and management of neonates in the NICU, addressing acute and chronic medical issues.  
  • Collaborate with pediatricians, surgeons, and other specialists to coordinate comprehensive care for newborns.  
  • Educate parents and families about their infants condition, treatment options, and care plans.  
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to best practices to achieve excellent patient outcomes.  
  • Engage in professional development and research opportunities to advance skills and knowledge in neonatology.
Qualifications:
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatology.  
  • Valid medical license to practice in North Dakota.  
  • Strong clinical skills and a commitment to providing patient-centered care. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in family interactions.  
  • A dedication to continuous learning and improving neonatal care.
