Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Prospecting: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, inbound/outbound leads, and strategic partnerships.
- Lead Qualification: Qualify potential leads to ensure alignment with product offerings and ideal customer profiles.
- Sales Presentations: Conduct product demos and presentations to prospective clients, showcasing how our solutions can solve their business challenges.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain and manage a robust pipeline using CRM tools, ensuring accurate forecasting and tracking of sales activities.
- Relationship Building: Establish and nurture long-term relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Negotiation and Closing: Lead contract negotiations and close deals that meet or exceed quota, securing favorable terms for the company and client.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, customer success, and product teams to optimize the customer experience and ensure smooth onboarding.
- Market Feedback: Gather and report customer feedback to the product team, identifying opportunities for improvement and new features.
- Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor products, and advancements in SaaS sales techniques.
- Tradeshows: Be able to travel 5-10 times per year to various locations in the US to go to veterinary conferences.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience: Must have a minimum of 2+ years sales experience.
- Sales Skills: Strong negotiation, closing, and consultative selling skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts simply.
- CRM Proficiency: Experience using CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot) for managing and forecasting pipelines.
- Industry Knowledge: Preferred experience in the veterinary industry.
- Team Player: Collaborative attitude with a willingness to work across teams to achieve shared goals.
- Motivation and Resilience: Self-motivated, goal-oriented, has GRIT, positive and resilient in overcoming objections.
