Description

Our organization helps clients build successful brands from preclinical phases through launch and to formulate and implement brand-specific strategies and programs for in-line brands. Services include brand strategy, market assessment; brand positioning, launch planning, lifecycle management, thought leader identification and engagement, and identification/development of marketing programs and sales force training/communication.

As part of our ambitious growth strategy, we're expanding our team and looking to add a Human Resources Manager at our Yardley, PA headquarters. This newly created role offers a hybrid remote/on-site schedule and is pivotal in building our internal infrastructure and talent base. The Human Resources Manager will support talent acquisition, HR operations, and performance management initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition:
  • Utilize technology to streamline recruitment and source quality candidates
  • Develop a pipeline of passive candidates through direct sourcing
  • Oversee the candidate experience
  • Strengthen the Herspiegel brand on external career sites
  • Manage the applicant tracking system (Paylocity), including requisition processes, reporting, and integrations
  • Build and maintain relationships with academic partners, career offices, and professional academic groups
  • Develop and manage programs that position Herspiegel as a preferred employer, building a strong talent pipeline from key institutions

Human Resources Administration & Operations:
  • Coordinate the hiring process from interview to onboarding
  • Enhance HR technology use across areas such as employee records, performance management, and benefits administration
  • Support special HR projects, including system training and survey analysis
  • Manage contractor administration, including contracts, onboarding, and system access
  • Maintain and update content on the company "intranet" site
  • Assist in directing internal initiatives including employee recognition, wellness, events and programs

Performance Management:
  • Act as an ambassador for the annual performance review process
  • Oversee the 45 and 90-day check-in process with new hires
  • Support training, development, and event planning for firm activities
  • Collect and analyze HR data to support continuous improvement
  • Assist in managing mentorship programs


Requirements

Education, Experience, and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • SHRM certification preferred
  • Minimum of five years of HR generalist and talent acquisition experience, ideally in life sciences
  • Demonstrated project leadership
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
  • Experience with HR technology such as Paylocity (ATS) is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and exceptionally organized
