LSSI is hiring a full-timeChild Welfare Supervisor, Monday through Friday from 9am to5pm.Responsible for the planning, directing and coordination of activities of assigned CCS Programs. May include one or more program sites generally involving multiple service lines. Supervises a unit of Child Welfare Specialists and/or Child Welfare Assistants providing child welfare services which could include foster care, adoption services, intact family services, and/or counseling services. - Collaboratewithothermanagementstaffinprogramsandnetwork onprogrammatic,fiscal, organization and community issues.
- Master'sDegreeinsocialworkorotherrelatedhumanservicesfieldrequired.
- 3to5years'ofprogressiveexperienceinsocialservicesrequired.
- ValidandactiveCWELLicense.
- SupervisoryexperienceandexperiencewithChildWelfarepreferred.
- Abilitytorespondtoclientemergenciesona24-hour basis,attendcourt,ACRs,staffing,and other related matters.
- Abilitytorespondtoclientemergenciesona24-hour basis,attendcourt,ACRs,staffing,and other related matters.
- Demonstrated abilityto communicate inaclear,comprehensiblemanner,bothverballyandinwriting.
- Excellentorganizational,presentation,andpc/computer skills,includingproficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, ExcelandPowerPoint) andother relatedsoftware.
- Background check clearance, both criminal and CANTS required.
- ValidILstatutoryminimumliabilityinsurancecoverage, bodilyinjuryandproperty damagerequired.
- Validdriver'slicense,ingoodstandingforthestateofresidencyrequired.
- Accesstoreliabletransportationrequired.
