Regional Human Resources Generalist

• Assist and advise the company's managers on personnel and staffing issues in accordance with applicable law, company policy, and applicable collective bargaining agreements.
• Direct and monitor the work of on-site human resources staff in accordance with HR departmental policies and procedures.
• Direct employee engagement and respond to employee concerns.
• Process voluntary and involuntary terminations.
• Collaborate with the payroll department, scheduling department, and management team to coordinate weekly timekeeping and payroll functions and manage the accuracy of employee data within the system.
• Assist with facilitating centralized orientation on a weekly basis.
• Conduct and/or coordinate investigations and discipline in accordance with the company's investigation and discipline policies with oversight from the VP of HR.
• Process union grievances in accordance with the company's grievance policy.
• Participate in weekly labor calls, discussing key personnel topics with care center leadership.
• Coordinate all performance management and evaluation activities.
• Respond to unemployment claims and participate in hearings.
• Track and manage the performance of probationary employees.
• Assist with drafting and monitoring of performance improvement plans.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or closely related field, preferred
• 2 years' experience in the field of human resources, preferred
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
