The Senior Project Manager will manage design teams, assist office leadership with administrative functions and overall office management as well as mentor staff, promote the overall growth and profitability of the RICK Tucson Office and have a commitment to community involvement and industry organizations.
Qualifications
Qualified candidates will have a BSCE degree, Arizona Registration as a Professional Civil Engineer, or the ability to obtain same through reciprocity, plus a minimum of twenty (20) years of relevant experience in residential and commercial land development. Qualified candidates will also have a minimum of ten (10) years of management experience supervising the work of engineers, designers, and other project support staff.

Candidates managerial experience must include the following:
- Supervision of engineering design teams
- Management of project schedules and budgets
- Preparation and management of contracts, fee proposals, and scopes of work
- Significant experience in client and public-agency interactions
- Accepts and carries out responsibility for the design team's direction, control and planning; sets realistic goals, and makes plans independently
Candidates technical experience must include the following:
- Site assessment and the ability to perform engineering design studies
- Preparation/processing of all related improvement plans in support of private land development projects
- Ability to perform constructability reviews and site construction conformance evaluations
- Experienced in construction support services
- AutoCAD/Civil 3D, Microsoft Project, and Bluebeam experience
Additional Skills:

- Business and management principles associated with strategic planning
- Resource allocation
- Leadership techniques
- Production procedures
- Interview, and hiring methods
- The coordination of people
- Exhibits a thorough understanding of jurisdictional processing
