Job Title: Panel Builder Job Description Assemble electrical control panels in an efficient manner consistent with the standards of the company. Assemblers must have the ability to understand and follow simple Assembly Instructions, including drawing notes and display genuine interest in satisfying our customers. Must be able to layout and mount components, including drilling, tapping, and cutting of sub-panels and enclosures. Must be able to wire assembled components from simple schematics and/or wire lists. An Electrical Assembler ‘B’ may be asked from time-to-time to assist in training or otherwise helping other Electrical Assembly employees. Responsibilities Assemble electrical control panels according to company standards. Understand and follow Assembly Instructions, including drawing notes. Layout and mount components, including drilling, tapping, and cutting of sub-panels and enclosures. Wire assembled components from simple schematics and/or wire lists. Assist in training or helping other Electrical Assembly employees as needed. Essential Skills At least 6 months of panel building experience. Basic working knowledge of applicable electrical standards such as NEMA, NEC, UL, IEC. Ability to work efficiently without direct supervision.
