Great Opportunity Great Pay!! Olsten Staffing is in search of Quality Control Supervisor for a client in Manning, SC. As a Quality Control Supervisor, you will be responsible for inspection of raw materials, in process and finish goods in accordance with associated specifications. QC Supervisors are also responsible for performing random audits as required for ensuring products and processes meet the appropriate specifications. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop, Implement and maintain a full-scale Quality Control program. Perform random audits of products and processes as assigned by the Quality Manager Inspect product quality, using standard methods, against published specifications Reject non-conforming products in accordance with document 4.13-01 Control of Non-Conforming Products. Recommend alternate uses / disposition of off spec components. Conduct part inspection. Communicate manufacturer quality issues with Vendors and follow up on corrective actions. Lead root cause analysis and corrective action activities. Operate within standard operating procedures and safety guidelines. Communication with Supervisors and Production personnel. Clean and maintain work area. Conduct part inspection. Accurately complete process documents Perform back-up of others as required Promote teamwork and build a culture of continuous improvement Other duties as assigned SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent. Must have at least 5 years' experience in Quality Control in a Manufacturing setting with Supervisory experience. Strong print reading skills Excellent basic inspection skills with the ability to conduct part inspection layout using a tape measure, calipers, height gage, and micrometers. Strong computer skills with MS Office applications. Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers Ability to lift up to 50 pounds required. Able to work overtime as needed. Able to perform all duties and responsibilities listed safely and wear required Personal Protective Equipment as required. Able to report every work day, on time and for the entire shift.
