Security Cooperation Analyst
Key Role:

Provide comprehensive security cooperation planning subject matter expertise to the U.S. Pacific Air Force Evaluate security cooperation funding, authorities, and policies and lead the implementation of new reform requirements. Manage and ensure the completion of security cooperation plans, program proposals, and concepts of operations to actualize U.S. INDOPACOM, Department of State, and USAF priorities for partner nations. Maintain responsibility for ensuring the appropriate resources are requested, justified, allocated, and maintained to facilitate the successful completion of multiple projects. Proactively coordinate with leadership to integrate emerging guidance and network with other service components to leverage efforts. Identify security cooperation capability gaps and provide improved processes and recommendations to address issues.

Basic Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience supporting DoD operations, strategy, policy, or planning
  • Experience in international affairs supporting U.S. security cooperation and security assistance or international development organizations
  • Experience with concept and funding requests, proposal development, and other security cooperation planning processes
  • Experience in project or program management, including identifying milestones, developing timelines, prioritizing efforts, coordinating with stakeholders, communicating expectations, and balancing multiple concurrent tasks
  • Knowledge with past, present, and emerging building partner capacity approaches
  • Knowledge of security cooperation and security assistance programs and authorities
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED


Additional Qualifications:
  • Experience with USINDOPACOM area of responsibility
  • Experience researching and analyzing federal regulations related to security cooperation
  • Knowledge of formal DoD and USAF staffing processes
  • Bachelor's degree in International Relation or Foreign Policy
  • Defense Institute for Security Cooperation Studies (DISCS) training


Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
