Security Cooperation Professional, Lead
Key Role:
Provide in-depth research and analysis, project design, and advisory and consulting services for planning and implementing capacity-building lines of effort with partner nations in furtherance of national security and related security cooperation goals. Lead and facilitate tasks in events with partner nations, virtually or in-country, as part of a government-led team interacting with partner nation senior defense officials to promote good governance and build defense capabilities in support of mutually agreed-upon security cooperation objectives. Assist in planning and coordinating security cooperation efforts with U.S. and partner-nation government stakeholders. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Be familiar with Defense Security Cooperation Agency policies, methodologies, procedures, and database tools, Indo-Pacific Theater Security Cooperation protocol and procedures, and U.S.C. Title 10 execution disciplines and implementation processes and procedures.
Basic Qualifications:
10+ years of experience interacting with civilian or military representatives of security or defense organizations of foreign nations above the tactical level.
Experience with regional or security cooperation staff at a strategic-level headquarters, including the OSD, Joint Staff, Combatant Command, or a supporting service component.
Experience working with allied, coalition, or partner nations, including security cooperation efforts and initiatives.
Knowledge of defense-focused functional areas, including strategy, policy, and planning at the national or regional level, special operations, military aviation, maritime domain awareness, and security.
Knowledge of security cooperation authorities, policies, processes, procedures, and resource tools and databases.
Ability to show regional expertise in foreign countries.
Secret clearance.
Bachelor’s degree.
Additional Qualifications:
Experience as a member of a U.S. Country Team abroad working on security cooperation matters.
Experience with assessment, monitoring, and evaluation policies, approaches, and processes as applied to security cooperation programs and activities.
Experience working in the DoD, DSCA, Joint Staff, and OSD.
Experience with U.S.C. Title 10 funding authorities, implementation, and execution.
Top Secret clearance.

The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
