About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its senior management team. The CFO will be responsible for the overall financial operations of the acute-care facility, including accounting, budgeting, audits, tax, and other financial planning activities. This role involves working with system management to develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and goals, as well as providing financial leadership to ensure the hospital meets regulatory and compliance requirements. The CFO will also contribute financial expertise to the planning of new services and manage costs to enhance the hospital's profitability. Candidates for the CFO position at the company must have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or a business-related field, with a Master's degree preferred. A minimum of 5 years' of progressive managerial experience in financial and accounting within an acute care environment is required, with recent experience as a CFO in a for-profit acute care hospital being highly preferred. The successful candidate will be proficient in communication, have the ability to maintain effective working relationships, and be adept at managing confidential information. A CPA certification is also preferred. The CFO will play a key role in the hospital's financial decision-making processes and must be aware of changes in healthcare matters that could impact the institution's success.
