MRA (The Management Association) is seeking a Marketing Communications Manager. MRA's Marketing team is seeking a messaging and communications expert with experience in content creation, creative services, marketing channels, and public relations. This team member will play a key role in the messaging strategy and copy execution across multiple channels and platforms, holding us to a standard that is true to our brand and delivers a wonderful experience for our members and prospects.
As a Marketing Communications Manager at MRA, you get to:
- Work with diverse Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and business leaders to develop key messages and value propositions.
- Develop and adapt campaign messaging and creative materials across mediums, including email, web, print, and social media.
- Act as a creative services manager, managing the creative workflow and facilitating production across teams, from ideation to copy and graphic design. Manage designer and proofreaders.
- Ensure creative work meets brand standards and guidelines.
- Craft news releases and marketing messaging for campaigns and projects.
- Collaborate with thought leaders and speakers to assist with promotion around speaking opportunities, planning, and follow-up.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree plus a minimum of 5 years' experience.
- Strong copy and content knowledge with the ability (and enthusiasm) to write, revise, and produce across mediums (email, social media, website, etc.).
- Strong critical thinking, writing, and editing skills.
- Demonstrated experience developing and deploying multi-channel campaigns.
- Thorough knowledge of creative workstreams and ability to run programs efficiently to produce high-quality work on time and on budget, both internally and with external agencies.
- Able to lead projects across and within teams.
- Knowledge of public relations, from press release development to media relations.
