Assembler | Bolingbrook, IL 2nd Shift | $20/hr Overview Several 2nd shift Assembler positions available at Manufacturing company in Bolingbrook, IL. You will be responsible for the final assemblies of car wash tunnels and equipment. This will require taking all the pieces that were made by the welders and machinists and assemble them together using hand and power tools. Assemblies are large mechanical parts for car washes, requiring physical activity and the ability to lift 50 lbs. Equipment is available for lifting heavier items. Training is required on 1st shift and then you will move to the 2nd shift schedule once training is completed. Responsibilities Perform final assemblies using hand and power tools. Follow blueprints to ensure accurate assembly. Assemble large mechanical parts for car washes. Work with large assemblies requiring physical activity. Utilize lifting equipment for items heavier than 50 lbs. Skills 1 year of large mechanical assembly experience Constuction/Automotive experience Hand and power tool experience. Blueprint experience. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Shift & Pay 2nd Shift 3:00/4:00PM - 11:30PM/12:30AM Pay: $20/hr Training will be on 1st shift 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Benefits & Perks Weekly Pay Health, Vision, Dental Career Growth Opportunities: welding, machining, shipping & receiving Occasional Overtime Available Work Environment The manufacturing floor is very clean, organized, spacious, quiet, and well-lit. The team currently consists of about 15 people, with plans to grow to 25 by the end of the year. The work schedule is from 7 AM to 3:30 PM.
