Position Summary This position is 100% remote and can be located anywhere in the United States. The Clinical Strategic Account Executive position is an exciting pharmacist opportunity to use your clinical background, specialty knowledge, and business acumen in a client-facing role. You will serve as the specialty account owner overseeing the specialty pharmacy business within the CarelonRx Division. As a Clinical Strategic Account Executive, your primary focus is serving as the specialty account owner and driving the client strategy through effective partnership. You will accomplish this through: Leading the direct activities of the strategic account team by providing the overall direction and strategy Building strong relationships both internally as well as with the key client partners Influencing client up-sell opportunities, growth, and retention by clearly communicating the client vision amongst the account team Managing contracts and ensuring that CVS Health solutions are effectively positioned to result inincreased revenue Formulating responses to Request for Proposals (RFPs) through collaboration with primary internal partners such as underwriting and proposals In addition, you will utilize clinical and analytical skills in a managed care environment to positively impact the health of members while helping reduce health care costs. You will accomplish this through: Serving as the clinical subject matter expert on the account team Providing clinical consulting services through analyzing drug utilization patterns and trends, focused on specialty, for our Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) clients to make formulary and utilization management (UM) recommendations; and reviewing the overall effectiveness of their clients' specialty prescription benefit programs Leveraging your presentation skills by delivering quarterly and annual reporting to clients on the clinical aspects of their specialty pharmaceuticals. Educating clients on CVS Health’s clinical programs and solutions to make recommendations for client implementation and adoption. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, evaluation of drug utilizationinformation, provision of information on formulary programs, serving as a drug information resource, and assisting plan performance evaluation and benefit design development. Your performance in these areas will be driven by your ability to grow revenue through clinical programs and solutions and achieve above average client satisfaction scores. Your understanding of the specialty, PBM and managed care environment as well as keeping up to date on market trends will enable you to position CVS Health programs and solutions effectively to client decision makers. This position can be located in a CVS Corporate Hub or has the ability to work remotely within the U.S. *Required Qualifications 3 + years of clinical experiencemanaging a large client account in the PBM, health plan, or related healthcare field with a focus on account ownership and strategy 2+ years of specialty pharmacy experience Valid pharmacy license required Proven performance in a PBM/specialty or healthcare sales/service position managing commercial, government and/or specialty business. Must be able to travel approximately 25% (six to eight times per year). Travel may require but is not limited to flights, overnight stays, local travel, travel on short notice and other travel deemed necessary by the Company. *Preferred Qualifications 5 to 8 years of Managed Care experience desirable OR experience supporting Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) or health plan clients Experience presentinginformation in a formal setting Experience using analytical skills and logic to analyze the business, solve problems, and present recommendations to leaders in an effort to develop solutions. Strong communications and presentation skills *Education Bachelor of Science, Pharmacy (RPh) or PharmD Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $100,425.00 - $216,300.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
