Management Analyst
As required by our governmental client, this position requires being a US Citizen AND an active Secret clearance.
The Management Analyst shall provide services to support the implementation of all Space and Advanced Technology (OES/SA) domestic and international engagements by designing, executing, analyzing, and improving office business and management practices.
Compensation & Benefits:
Estimated Starting Salary Range for Management Analyst: $95,698.76
Pay commensurate with experience.
Full-time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

Management Analyst Responsibilities Include:
- Collaborates with Office of Space and Advanced Technology (OES/SA) management to define office, team, and project goals, set logistical criteria, and create timelines.
- Designs and implements procedures for drafting, clearing, and approving agreements between the U.S. and foreign countries on space exploration.
- Develops metrics to track bilateral and multilateral agreements, ensuring timely approval and renewal.
- Maintains knowledge of U.S. laws, regulations, and procedures for international negotiations, including the Department of State's Circular 175 process.
- Advises on improving OES/SA operations through automation, data, and information systems.
- Manages information flow to enhance decision-making and task completion.
- Oversees communication processes within OES/SA and with interagency groups on space policy.
- Supports the development of space-related policies and programs, including drafting documents, conducting analyses, and preparing strategy options.
- Coordinates liaison efforts with U.S. agencies, foreign governments, and external organizations.
- Organizes meetings, conferences, and workshops, coordinating logistics and tracking outreach activities.
- Prepares briefing materials, talking points, and correspondence.
- Manages travel logistics, ensuring compliance with travel policies.
- Provides logistical support for ongoing projects, interagency meetings, and events.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Management Analyst Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Experience: 4-6 years in a relevant field such as foreign policy, international affairs, space policy, science communication, or international science and technology cooperation, or a combination of these areas.
- Clearance and other requirements: Active Secret Clearanceand must meet pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
- Skills:
- Proven experience improving business procedures and systems for tracking communications, decisions, and stakeholder approvals.
- Exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including the Microsoft Office suite and Adobe Acrobat.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience drafting or coordinating input from multiple stakeholders for official U.S. government policy or program documents.
- Excellent customer service and strong organizational skills, including attention to detail and follow-up.
- Background in civil, commercial, or national security aspects of outer space.
- Ability to:
- Work independently and collaboratively, recommending solutions with minimal guidance.
- Develop and manage processes to track task-related information.
- Handle multiple tasks with varying complexity, shifting priorities, and short deadlines.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Department of State policies and procedures, including Circular 175 treaty negotiation procedures.
