Job Description
Job Title: Data Entry Assistant - On Call Exemption Status: Non-exempt
Department/Location: Catholic Foundation, Bishop Kicanas Pastoral Center / Tucson, AZ
Primary Function: Under the direction of the Annual Giving Manager and the Development Associate, the On Call Data Entry Assistant provides data entry and administrative support for various fundraising activities. The Employee shall be a minister of the Gospel and Catholic Teaching behaviorally while at work and in his/her personal life, "...Live in a manner worthy of the call you have received." (Eph. 4:1)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Required Activities: Walking, sitting, standing, stooping, reaching, talking, handling, hearing, carrying, keyboarding.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Recognize and support the unique Catholic Mission of the Diocese by speaking, acting, and instructing consistent with the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church. The employee may not espouse, in word or deed, any doctrine inconsistent with the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church.
- Give evidence of living Gospel values by being an active member of a faith community and being open to the importance of a personal faith journey; strive to model the teaching of Jesus by attitude and example.
- Quickly learn and adapt to data entry software or tools as required.
- Enter data accurately from various sources into computer systems or databases.
- Verify data for accuracy and completeness by cross-referencing with source documents.
- Cleanse data by identifying and rectifying errors such as misspellings or inaccuracies.
- Organize and maintain electronic and physical files associated with data entry tasks.
- Assist in basic data analysis tasks, including generating reports.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information according to company policies.
- Communicate effectively with team members to clarify requirements and provide updates.
- Complete assigned tasks within specified deadlines to ensure timely delivery of projects.
- Perform quality checks on completed work to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards.
- Document data entry activities, including any changes made and relevant communications.
- Communicate with donors to address inquiries or concerns regarding their donations.

Basic Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of, and a strong commitment to the mission of the Catholic Church.
- Practicing Roman Catholic in full communion with the Church.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent human relations, interpersonal, and team collaboration skills
- Organized self-starter, capable of multitasking and working with a sense of urgency.
- Proficiency in computer technology, including word-processing and spreadsheets.
- Punctual and professional demeanor and appearance.
- Maintain confidentiality and respect for the privacy of donors and persons served.
- Successful completion of background, criminal history, and credit history checks
- High school graduate
- Three years' experience with constituent management systems, MS Word, Excel, data entry
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish)
- Proficiency in donor management software or trainable on current software
